The Department of Medical Education has commenced as a fledging department with an aim to train the trainers. The faculty have received basic training in Medical Education at nodal centers and is now capable of conducting courses for new teachers in Medical Sciences that are recognized by the Medical Council. The Department aims to develop in the course of time as a nodal center and train faculty from other colleges both in basic and advanced courses in Medical Education which are now deemed necessary by the Medical Council of India.
Medical Education Unit, CDSIMER organized a two days Curriculum Implementation Support Program (CISP)-2 on 29th and 30th September 2020. Observer for this program was Dr. Nachiket Shankar, St John’s Medical College, Bangalore. A total of 30 participants of different cadre attended this workshop.
